In 2006 Ekta received a CWIT scholarship to do an MA in Textiles at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. This was a transformative experience for Ekta
CWIT was a springboard to my journey of being an independent artist
Today, Ekta is an award winning artist based in London. Her artistic practice is focused on creating narrative maps that explore places, history and belonging through stitch.
